professional background

I have made my first contacts with traffic and urban planning topics and engagements already at school. In 2012, while still a member of the ILF, I took up the position of university assistant at the Institute for Infrastructure, Unit for Intelligent Transport Systems of the University of Innsbruck.

After finsihing by PhD as a “Dr. techn.” with distinction and 1 1/2 year working as Senior Scientist at the University of Innsbruck, I was leading the transport department at the ILF Consulting Engineers GmbH until autumn 2018. In summer 2018 I finally returned to the University of Innsbruck as a Senior Scientist in Traffic Science and was sworn in as chartered engineering consultant for regional policy.
